Dorokai Children’s Foundation Uganda is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering educational opportunities and a nurturing environment for orphans and vulnerable children in underserved communities across Uganda.
We believe that every child deserves a fulfilling and happy life. Since 2023 we have been working with friends, well-wishers, development partners, and individuals to provide children with the skills, healthcare, and resources they need to break the cycle of poverty and realize their dreams.
Across Uganda, thousands of orphans and vulnerable children live in poverty, facing inequality and social exclusion. This limits their access to education and opportunities, preventing them from reaching their full potential and securing better livelihoods.
We provide hands-on skills training, educational resources, and a safe space blended with spiritual guidance to empower orphans and vulnerable children to lead fulfilling and productive lives.
To enable orphans and vulnerable children to realize their full potential and self-sufficiency through transformative education and an enabling environment.

to enable children to positively impact their communities.
We go beyond traditional aid by offering holistic support that fosters self-reliance from an early stage. Our approach breaks the “orphan mindset” and equips children with the tools to become independent, empowered individuals.
We genuinely care for our beneficiaries, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
We believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive.
We create equal opportunities for every child to participate in our programs and overcome inequalities.
We support orphans and vulnerable children aged 5 to 20 years who are neglected, abandoned, or from broken and impoverished families in underserved communities across Uganda.
